Old English Tales
These audio recordings are simply a personal preservation of our family's heritage—a glimpse into the past (a history lesson). If Old English tales speak to you—enjoy them; if not, follow the historical stories that belong to your home and heart.
Some Old English tales include hardships and can bring up strong feelings or none at all—every child is different. While some children may feel immediate empathy for the character; other's don't (yet)—that is okay. Take the time to observe your child's empathic development and meet them where they are. If a tale feels too heavy, pause, simplify, or choose another cultural stream that better fits your child's age, temperament, and family values. There are many other cultures to explore—these are just our families personal favorites. Thank you for listening.
