This story introduces children to the gesture of color--light and warmth, stillness and strength, mood and meaning. Perfect for introducing wet-on-wet watercolor in the early years.

In a world where colors arrive like visitors from the sky or the sea, each hue carries its own breath. Yellow brings warmth. Red carries life. Blue invites rest and wonder. As each color appears, the world stirs and responds—opening space for the child to meet color with their eyes and heart.

In this book, color becomes more than a decorative pigment—it brings presence. Within these pages, the child meets color as an experience, offering a gentle path into the world of living color. For in color, the child also begins to meet themselves.

Book #1 - The Living Lessons Library

A collection of gentle, imaginative storybooks that guide children into the world through artistic experience.
Each book invites the young soul to experience the elements of the world: the curve of a line, the warmth of a color, the breath of a tone, and the shape of a letter. Through this meeting, the child is introduced not just to creative expression, but to the deeper laws that shape the world around us: rhythm, resonance, polarity, balance, and harmony.

This series nurtures the child’s inner relationship with the outer world—through the senses. Sight, sound, movement, and meaning unfold through carefully crafted stories, verses, and guided artistic experiences.

This story introduces children to the archetypes of line and curve--will and feeling, structure and flow. Perfect for first-grade form drawing blocks.

In a world where lines walk and curves dance, Sir Straight and Lady Curvy each travel their own path—one fixed and forward, the other soft and spiraling. But when they meet at the edge of a river too deep to cross alone, something beautiful begins. Through the gesture of cooperation, the two discover a hidden land where form is alive, and every shape carries meaning.

As Sir Straight and Lady Curvy journey together, they reveal how difference can become harmony, and how form can awaken the soul. Each chapter introduces a living lesson through story, movement, and verse—guiding the process of drawing each form.

Within these pages, numbers become more than symbols—they gain gesture and form. Each lesson awakens the young soul to the hidden order of the world—and their own place within its graceful design.

In the Land of Living Letters
Where letters learn and stories play

In Production

This story introduces consonants as they are first experienced--sound and symbol, picture and form, breath and gesture. Each consonant is born from something the child already knows. Perfect for first grade letter blocks.

In a world where consonants transform into theatrical characters, each dressed in their own image—a story is told. Through fairy tale illustrations and real-world symbols, the child is carried into written language and spoken word. Each letters hides within butterflies, mountains, and waves—waiting for the child to discover and call it by name.

Within these pages, consonants become more than marks on paper—each lesson reveals how the alphabet grows out of both the world around us and the world within.

Threefold Little Readers | Grade 1

-- Available in: ALL CAPS text or NO CAPS text --
(cursive text option is being considered)
This series offers either ALL CAPS or NO CAPS books. You choose! Offering both lets families and teachers choose what best supports the child right now, while still preparing them for what comes next.

BUT WHY WOULD I CHOOSE ALL CAPS?
Steiner emphasizes that writing
grows out of drawing, and that print-reading
comes later, out of handwriting-reading.
By keeping letter-work, slow, beautiful and intentional children build strong form, rhythm, and ease before moving on. This ensures that writing becomes an art (but not exactly calligraphy).

Additionally, this sequence honors the drawing /to handwriting and handwriting/to reading. It is from this artistic foundation, new artistic ventures emerge—more refined handwriting, richer line work, and the widening world of books.

No matter your approach, the goal is the same—to protect the child’s joy and relationship to learning, so reading grows naturally out of something they have already made beautiful with their own hands and heart.

Rooted in the wisdom of the hands–heart–head, these stories nurture early literacy in a way that honors the child’s whole being.

In Grade 1 (ages 6-8), the child meets simple tales told with warm and clear language. Each page offers just a few accessible sentences for the emerging reader.
Inside each book the child is invited to:
  • illustrate the story themselves
  • write the words they see
  • read the sentences to themselves
  • and speak meaningful phrases aloud

These step-by-step practices form a complete early literacy experience that is active, artistic, and deeply human.

Deep in the heart of an enchanted woodland lies The Hollow—a circle of mossy roots and old friendships. And at its center is The Hearth, where warmth is shared, stories are kindled, and belonging is never questioned.

The Hollow and the Hearth is a gentle seasonal puppet tales series that follows a cast of sweet, archetypal characters as they move through the wheel of the year—meeting new challenges, discovering small gifts, and learning how to live in wonder, care, and courage.

Inside each seasonal volume you will find:
  • Three original puppet scripts: crafted for simple table-top or lap puppet play
  • Storytellers Support: verses, character guides, and setting the scene
  • Practical Guidance: tips on creating puppets, arranging a seasonal nature table, and inviting children into dramatic play

Reviews

"The detailed explanation of each character's inner quality, will help the teacher or parent to imbue their own puppets with these traits by using suitable gestures and voice cadences."

Performed by parents, these stories guide children through the seasons.
Nature Table Narratives is a reflective puppet tale series—offering tales for each corner of the year. Unlike script based plays, these stories are wholly spoken by the storyteller. A single narrator's voice weaves the scene—inviting the child to watch and dream while the puppets move in gentle motions reflecting the gesture of each season.
