Like much of what I share on this site, the intention is that, you, the caregiver learn to carry the story forward in your own way. Puppetry is not meant to be about following things perfectly or replicating the story exactly. It is about discovering your own inspiration and imagination, and making the story your own. It is also about gaining the confidence to express what is hidden within your own being. And most of all it is about building connections beyond the reach of the physical world—as the inner world, aka the soul world, becomes more visible. For in sharing stories, we practice the art of understanding each other more deeply.
